"Planted to Grow and Sow"

We are a community of people planted here by the grace of God and united by faith in Jesus Christ, our Saviour and our only hope in life and in death. We desire to grow in our relationship with God and sow the good news of salvation in Christ. We invite you to join us on this journey of faith, to join us in being planted to grow and sow!

Each Lord's Day to gather joyfully in the worship of God to celebrate his love, power, and blessings in ways that are appropriate and meaningful to persons of varied ages and walks of life, so that God is worshiped in spirit and in truth,  people meet God, are built up in Christian faith, motivated to serve and worship Him each day. (Psalm 96, John 4:24, Hebrews 10:25)
To make a systematic and continuing effort to help every person meet and make new friends; identify, use and develop his/her spiritual gifts & talents; and belong to one or more groups so that everyone feels accepted in the church, lives in the joy of Christian fellowship, has a task or role according to his/her gifts & talents, and thereby is meaningfully assimilated into the congregation.  (John 15:13, Romans 12:6, Acts 2:42)
To help new people be adopted into membership and to prayerfully care for one another in love, so that every member feels he/she belongs here and experiences Christian love, encouragement, and mutual support. (Galations 6:1-10, Hebrews 10:23-24)
To offer life-related biblical instruction and training for adults, youth, and children so that we are led to personal faith in Jesus Christ, are helped to live for Christ thankfully and obediently in all areas of life and increase our understanding of the Christian faith and our church, encouraging Christian education at home, church, and school.  (Deuteronomy 6:4-9, Colossians 3:12-17, I Timothy 4:1-14)
To encourage and enable one another, through our congregational activities, as individuals in public and private life, to witness where we are and to share with others our personal faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, so that people will be attracted to Jesus Christ, believe in him as Savior and Lord, and become faithful members of his church.  (Acts 1:8, Romans 10:8-15, I Peter 2:9-12)
